I have been using the 28cm Gatorskins on a cyclocross bike for commuting year around and weekend rides. Great puncture resistance and reliability. October to March includes commuting at night and in the rain ( it is San Diego so rain is more of a treat than a bummer) Handling is good until rear profile starts to flatten from wear. typically wear out 2 rears to 1 front. did try rotating the tires once but handling tradeoff of putting flatter profile on the front is not worth the hassle of swapping tires.
have more than 8k miles on these tires over ~3 years and no complaints.
