Worth it to save your tires March 13, 2010

I used to run old about to pop tires on the trainer that I did not trust on the road anymore. This has solved the problem completely as this tire lasts longer and it much quieter and runs cooler. Yes it is a luxury. I bought a cheap Mavic Aksium rear wheel and placed this tire on it as my trainer wheel with a close range cassette. Try it , it works great.
