Crank Brothers Cobalt Disc Wheelset: Premium quality Cross Country wheelset (rim spine machined to reduce weight). Welded, anodized 6061-T6 aluminum rim with unique "Y" cross-section. Spokes attach at the base of the "Y" via 12 small stainless steel cylinder (yes, there are only 12 points of attachment for the 24 spokes). Without holes, the rim maintains high strength and is great for tubeless.

TwinPair spoke design: half stainless steel and half aluminum (think of the aluminum half as more of a super-elongated standard nipple). Truing is accomplished with a standard spoke wrench, and spoke replacement can be accomplished without removing the tire. Front hub is standard quick release, rear has four cartridge bearings, 17mm axle and incorporates a six-pawl driver on an aluminum HG 8/9sp freehub body (6 pawls, 3 engaging concurrently, 48 clicks per revolution)
