Description   Crank Brothers Iodine Disc Wheelset: Durable All Mountain and Freeride wheelset (rim spine left intact for added strength). Welded, anodized 6061-T6 aluminum rim with unique "Y" cross-section. Spokes attach at the base of the "Y" via 12 small stainless steel cylinder (yes, there are only 12 points of attachment for the 24 spokes). Without holes, the rim maintains high strength and is great for tubeless. Two-piece spoke design: half stainless steel and half aluminum (think of the aluminum half as more of a super-elongated standard nipple). Truing is accomplished with a standard spoke wrench, and spoke replacement can be accomplished without removing the tire.
