Description
 
Intense Spider 29 Frame: This was the first 29 on the market with VPP suspension. Steeper HA on this platform gives this 29 more of a 26” feel with the benefits of bigger wheels. Bike handles quick and does not feel like a big bike where a lot of 29 end up. The 29” wheels and VPP combo make this a wonderful trail/XC bike. This bike seems to have the best purchase rate after a demo over any other model we make… if that means anything.

The torque-sensitive VPP system balances the downward movement of the rider with an equal and opposing upward force on the frame. This leaves the suspension neutral and able to comply with both bumps and depressions while eliminating power loss. The VPP system can maintain efficient pedaling through a large portion of the travel providing excellent acceleration even with sag. This makes the suspension more compliant and conserves rolling momentum better than a topped-out or over damped set up.
