The Ksyrium line has always offered the unbeatable combination of light weight with high stiffness, comfort and reliability.
After several years of research and development, we introduced the Ksyrium Pro Carbon SL C as one of the lightest carbon clincher rims on the market. These wheels get you to the top of the pass fast, and help you fly down the descent with confidence. We used exclusive Finite Element Simulation software to choose the right fibers, resins and rim lay-up.
A wide tire bed allows for increased air volume in the tires, which improves ride quality. And the round, smooth rim profile makes it one of the most aerodynamic wheels in its category for superfast descents. With our iTgMax clincher molding process, the resin is enhanced through a proprietary heat treatment protocol that makes it able to resist heat for the highest durability of any carbon clincher rim. And a new laser preparation of the brake track further improves braking performance. The spokes are bladed and double butted.
Using 20 in front and 24 rear creates high stiffness, low weight and long-term reliability. The Ksyrium Pro Carbon SL C also includes our new Instant Drive 360 freewheel system hubs for light weight, low friction, fast engagement, high axle stiffness and great durability. And if you need to service it, the tool-free design makes it simpler than ever.
The Wheel-Tire System comes with 25mm Yksion Pro tires. The Griplink front tire improves steering confidence in wet or dry conditions. And the Powerlink rear tire maximizes your power with its low rolling resistance.
