Avid Elixir-CR Carbon Disc Brakes : Flip-flop lever body with an integrated reservoir and exclusive Taper Bore master cylinder technology for improved power and modulation. Matchmaker compatible handlebar split-clamp for easy install/removal. External, tool-free indexed lever reach adjustment. Dual, large-piston caliper design with drag-free pad retraction, top loading pads, adjustable-angle banjo bolt, and a drip-free bleeding system. Full hydraulic (DOT 5.1) system automatically adjusts for pad wear. Tri-Align Caliper Positioning System (CPS) for caliper/rotor alignment.

If your installing these on a bike with a long wheel base (like a 29er) you may want to buy the Elixir hose extension kit also.
When installing the rear the hose comes up short and the caliper end takes a unique crimped on fitting.

i love these brakes!! The stopping power is great and the fact that they are super adjustable from the handlebars is perfect! I highly reccomend them...
