5 of 5 Best all mountain pedal I've used May 10, 2014

To me the gold standard for downhill/dual slalom (and now "all mountain") clipless pedals was the shimano PD DX M636 pedals - the old red ones. Well, shimano doesn't make these any more, and I wanted to find something as close to this design as possible. The VX-Race Adventure pedals are pretty darned close. Super sturdy, all metal, high-quality and fairly lightweight. I love them so much I bought two sets and will likely purchase a third in case VP ever stops producing them. Highly recommended.
