Are these really BMX or DH worthy like advertised? |

Last week I took a minor spill when coming out of a switchback into some tight singletrack, got sideways, laid the bike on it's side and came to a sliding stop. The chromoly spindle was tweaked. Weak! Anyway, not really as durable or heavy duty as they claim. I've had cheap Wellgo pedals take more of a beating than these, and still kept rolling smooth and true. Now i have a reason to go clipless... Grip is great, careful those pins are razor.
