Skeptical of carbon, it took a lot of research to convince me this seatpost was worth it. Everything I read suggests it is bombproof, comfortable, and syntace seems to have an excellent CS reputation in the event of failure.
I can't say it has absolutely changed the ride on my rigid mountain bike, but I really can tell the difference coming from an alloy seatpost.
