The Abound will also operate with the throttle unplugged and removed, should you want to ride in an area that only allows Class I ebike or throttles are prohibited. Aventon ebikes are built to the IPX5-rated standard. An IPX5 rating means the bike is protected against low-pressure water jets from any direction. This provides a moderate level of water resistance, allowing you to ride in light to moderate rain or through small puddles. However, IPX5 does not mean waterproof—Aventon ebikes are not designed for full submersion. Avoid using a pressure washer or high-pressure sprayer to clean your ebike, as pressurized water can still damage components. *Max range determined using PAS 1 on flat terrain with a rider weight of 160 lb.*

- Cruise Control
Cruise Control lets you lock in your perfect pace with the push of a button. Whether you're riding down country roads or open trails, it keeps your speed steady so you can focus on the ride—not the pedals.
Sensor Switch
Like two bikes in one, choose between using a Torque or Cadence sensor with Sensor Switch. Whether you want to feel the power on the pedals or just cruise, Aventon’s Sensor Switch gives you the option to optimize your ride.
Integrated Kickstand Lock
The kickstand lock keeps the bike securely parked by preventing it from being moved or rolled away while the kickstand is down—ideal for securely loading your cargo or passengers and for quick stops during your daily adventures.
Boost Mode
Available on all ACU-equipped, hub-driven ebike models, Boost Mode allows the rider to access up to 120% of specced torque and peak power for up to 30 seconds at a time. It turns steep hills into shortcuts and handles heavy hauls hassle-free.
Ride Tune
The ride tune feature lets you customize torque, assistance, and pedal response in each assist mode, making it easier to start smoothly with heavy loads, maintain control with passengers on the back, and ride more efficiently with varying amounts of cargo.
Hold Mode
Keep gravity at bay when you need a break. Hold Mode keeps your bike from rolling backwards when you need a break from walking it up an incline. Release the Walk Mode button to activate Hold Mode for up to 30 seconds at a time.
Startup Password
The optional startup password adds customizable security by allowing you to set a personal code on the bike’s display, helping to prevent unauthorized use of your bike.
Cross-Model Keyless Battery System
Quickly unlock and remove your battery directly through the bike’s display, offering fast, secure, and convenient access without worrying about keeping track of a set of keys. With cross-model compatibility, your Abound LR battery will also work on the Abound SR, Aventure 3, Level 3, and Pace 4.
Over-the-Air Updates
Over-the-air updates ensure your bike receives the latest ride features and improvements automatically through the bike’s display, keeping it up to date without a visit to the shop.
