The microfiber upper fits and feels great, and our co-molded outsole permanently fuses the nylon sole with an aggressively lugged rubber tread, giving you plenty of power at the pedals with sure grip on the trails. These shoes are awesome! I've used Sidi shoes for the road and trails for the past 20+ years and have loved them but thought I'd try something with laces for gravel. I was a little worried about lack of adjustability during a ride through and it is a little problem at first but just like my mountaineering boots, I found the feel of how tight to lace the shoes at the beginning and really have no need to adjust during the ride now.
A lot of reviews stated these shoes run a little small but I ordered the same size as my Sidi's and they are actually just a little roomier.
Overall I couldn't be happier with these shoes, they look cool and retro with the laces, the olive color and tan soles, are super comfortable and the price is great!
