Izumi V Half Link Chain Length Customizer: Proper fixed gear chain tension is critical: too tight could mean binding and too loose could mean unwanted chain drop. This special step-down half-link connecter allows you to add or subtract half of one link (1/2 inch) from most 1/8" chains in order to optimize chain tension. The solid machine screw provides a strong, secure connection (NJS approved). Recommended for Izumi model V or ESH chains only.
