My 9 year-old son has experience on full-suspension bikes for park sessions/trail riding in the northeast. The Rift Zone 26 is very capable, easily handling technical descents, big drops, and is light enough to throw around in the air when jumping.

The components are low/mid-spec, but all work perfectly. After a few quick adjustments, my son had this thing flying all over our local trails. I was hesitant about the X-Fusion suspension, but after years of riding Rockshox, Fox, DVO, and others myself, the X-Fusion performed right there with the big brands - plush ride, easy set-up, and my kid says it feels better than anything else he’s ridden.

Before ordering online, I spoke with John over the phone. He was super helpful and equally as excited about my purchase; clearly a seasoned rider who knew exactly what my son and I were looking for in a proper full-suspension rig. It arrived on time and well-packaged. Thanks BikeBling!
