SRAM PowerLock Link for 10spd Chains: Replacement Powerlock tool-free link for SRAM 10-speed chains. SRAM recommends breaking their 10-speed chain with a chain tool to push a pin out and NOT to break the chain at the powerlock link. When the chain is re-connected, a 10-speed Powerlock link must be used. ONLY compatible with SRAM PC-1070, PC-1090 and PC-1090R chains. Black. (reuseable): no-tool close/open.

I carry a spare one in my pack just in case my chain breaks. They put you back on the trail in minutes instead of hiking out of the woods. I also install new chains with them in case I have to remove the chain on the trail to fix something. Then pop it right back on. No chain tools required.
